Wordless Wednesday: Smoked Trout Sandwich

June 22, 2011 by Sabrina Modelle

I know it’s supposed to be wordless, but…
Inspired By: Tami Hardeman of Running With Tweezers. Happy Birthday, Sweets! You really made me crave a sandwich.

PS: Tami, I know I used artificial lights, and there’s a brown spot on my lettuce, but you inspired me to eat a sandwich for dinner and you made me miss you with your post. Don’t cringe too much.

XO

Hi! How are you? It's been a while since I've visited.
I love sandwiches, I love fish; what's not to love about this? Incrfedible looking. I only wish I could taste it.

Super simple. I love easy dinners! Nice to see you here again. If you're ever wanting to try the smoked trout. It's house smoked from Bi-Rite Market on 18th and Guerrero. So, next time you're in The City, stop by and pick some up.

This looks like the best sandwich ever. That might be my stomach talking as I'm currently STARVING, but seriously its gorgeous. Bravo, as usual.

Thanks love. It was a great sandwich. I still have just a nibble of that smoked trout left in my fridge. I am grateful that I can get it fresh from the smoker, sometimes still warm. It is one of the small pleasures in my life. Oh, Bi-Rite Market, the happiest little place on earth.

This looks to-die-for! And the seedy (in a good way) bread looks spectacular! Definitely my kind of sammich. Yum!

Thanks Steph. I think we may have some intersecting tastes. Love your site, too.

I absolutely love making my own dough for pies and tarts – made some last night and making another batch tonight! I am so glad you are encouraging people to make their own! Now, where can I find that farm fresh egg? 😉

Amanda, have you heard about Pie Day that Shauna from Gluten Free Girl is promoting. We\’re all encouraged to make pies on 7/5! I love the idea of everyone eating pie for no reason at all. I think I\’ll wake up early and make one for everyone at work.
